ESPN's LIVE season coverage of top-flight men's tennis continues in October with coverage from two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events, the Shanghai Rolex Masters in Shanghai - won last year in fine style by Serbia's Novak Djokovic over Great Britain's Andy Murray - and the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, where Spanish talent David Ferrer won his first Masters 1000 title in 2012 with a defeat of qualifier Jerzy Janowicz.
The season's first Grand Slam in Australia saw Djokovic defeat Murray to claim a third consecutive Aussie title. Wimbledon proved to be electric as the same duo delivered a memorable final, with Murray becoming the first British male champion at Wimbledon in 77 years. Roland Garros meanwhile was an all-Spanish affair as Rafael Nadal cemented his comeback from injury with a defeat of Ferrer. All look poised to make an appearance in the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, with Swiss legend Roger Federer showing signs of falling off the pace but still in the mix.
